  • About

Stanford Hand Therapy Clinical Fellowship Program

The Stanford Hand Therapy Clinical Fellowship Program is an 11-month dynamic learning experience in a renowned medical center with one of the most experienced hand therapy teams on the West Coast. The goal of the program is to accept candidates with:
  • At least 1 year of work experience as an occupational therapist (OT) with some of that experience in a hand therapy setting.
  • A strong desire to become a master hand therapist and gain the knowledge and skills to advance to board certification as a certified hand therapist (CHT)

How to Apply

The program begins during the last week of September and ends mid August each year. Throughout the year, interested OTs can send a letter of interest with an attached resume to:

Wendy Moore, OTR, CHT

Application Timeline

In mid-May, applicants can go to the Stanford Health Care jobs site to apply for the 11-month, fixed term OT position in Hand Therapy.

In late June, candidates will be contacted to arrange for a telephone interview and submit letters of recommendation.

By early July candidates will be interviewed face to face or via Skype/Facetime and a top candidate will be notified by the end of July.

Housing and Expenses

Fellows are responsible for all living expenses. They are formally hired by Stanford Health Care as a benefitted 70% entry-level therapist, but are at the clinic full-time for the learning experience.

Location

The Hand Therapy Clinical Fellowship Program is located at:
