BIOGRAPHY
My interest in physical therapy began on the sidelines of the Rose Bowl where I served as a student trainer for the UCLA Bruins football team. As someone who enjoys playing and watching sports, I wanted to do something to keep the athletes I watched on TV out on the field. While sports rehabilitation continues to be a passion of mine, my time at USC and Stanford has allowed me to broaden my expertise to get my patients back to their respective playing fields whether on the basketball court or in an office building. I am a strong believer that my role as a Doctor of Physical Therapy is to optimize my patients’ movement and function by developing specific treatment plans based on an individuals combination of mobility, strength, and control deficits.

I was first drawn to physical therapy at a young age while watching the rehabilitation course of a young girl similar in age on the show 20/20. The segment was so impactful that I researched all that I could about physical therapy and decided that this was what I wanted to do prior to graduating high school. I didn’t imagine that the spectrum of the profession would be so massive. Although the roads were many, I decided to focus on Orthopaedics, which encompasses the rehabilitation of all systems including the neurological, integumentary, cognitive behavioral and movement systems. Each day I am captivated by the human body and am eager to learn more about its function.
