Stanford Health Care Introduces New Medicare Advantage Plan

University Health Care Advantage Offered to Santa Clara County Residents
STANFORD, CA. — Today Stanford Health Care is launching University Health Care Advantage (UHCA), a Medicare Advantage plan for Santa Clara County residents. UHCA will provide Medicare beneficiaries access to more than 200 primary care physicians and 2,100 specialists from Stanford Medicine and its affiliated provider network.
UHCA was designed to offer Medicare-eligible residents in Santa Clara County a comprehensive and coordinated health care experience, including routine checkups, integrated specialty care, medication management, chronic disease management, and intense coordination of acute care episodes. UHCA members will have access to a multi-disciplinary team of physicians who work closely with them to provide coordinated and personalized care that promotes healthy aging, wellness and longevity. Highlights of the plan include:
- Comprehensive and coordinated care with Stanford Health Care as the cornerstone of your care team
- Highly trained one-on-one assistance available from UHCA’s Member Care Services to aid you in navigating your benefits and health care journey
- Wellness programs
- Secure online access thru MyHealth to medical records, test results, appointments and communications with your physician (where available)
- Dental and vision coverage
- Prescription drugs
