02.21.2012
Stanford School of Medicine is committed to curing hearing loss. Rapid advances in the bioscience and technology of hearing (many of which originated at Stanford) make it realistic to envision a cure within a foreseeable time horizon. This talk focuses on these advances and the multidisciplinary research effort to bring a biological cure for major forms of hearing loss, and reviews today's state-of-the-art medical treatments and emerging technologies to improve the lives of those with hearing impairments.
Speaker: Speaker: Robert Jackler, MD, Sewall Professor and Chair, Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Stanford University Medical Center
