Appointment Options
Stanford Health Care has the capacity to care for you and to respond to the needs of the COVID-19 crisis. We have flexible care options depending on your needs, including telehealth video visits and in-person appointments.
Telehealth Video Visits
Telehealth video visits are a great way to see your doctor in the comfort of your own home.
These visits allow Stanford Medicine doctors to diagnose and treat you through a video call, simply using your computer or smartphone.
If you doctor determines that you need to come into our facilities for an in-person exam, lab-work, imaging, or a procedure, we have very high safety standards in place to keep you safe.
Note: Parents and guardians of patients who are 0-17 years old can join their child's video visit using a MyHealth proxy access.
In-person Appointments, Imaging and Procedures
We offer safe and timely in-person visits and procedures at our facilities. You can expect the highest standards of infection-control, which prevent exposure to COVID-19, at all our locations across the Bay Area.
Contactless check-in/check-out is available through the MyHealth app, limiting patient queues and use of shared devices. Patients can also use MyHealth to schedule follow up appointments and access after appointment summaries.
Before medical procedures, including surgery, you will be asked to undergo a COVID-19 test to insure optimal safety. Your care team will provide guidance on this process.
