SHC Patient, Feb 2016

It was really nice to have a surgeon who understands active lifestyles and knows what certain exercises entail so that when I ask if I can do them, I don't have to explain what it is. As a result, I feel confident that having the surgery was the right thing to do for me and I'm excited to be able to set crazy goals again without worrying about the symptoms returning.

I've had a horrible year of deteriorating neuromuscular issues and Dr. Alamin has been helpful in delineating what might be physical problems with my spine from the neuromuscular issues. I am totally confident in his conclusions, even though it was not what I wanted to hear in this case.
