Dr. Conti is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, fellowship trained in family planning, and serves as an affiliated clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. An internationally recognized medical journalist, she consults regularly with the media on reproductive health topics. She holds a masters in both journalism from Columbia and in epidemiology and clinical research from Stanford.
She co-hosts The V Word, a women’s health podcast, and enjoys writing, baking, spinning, and traveling with her husband and two children.

Dr. Conti is very knowledgeable but was nonchalant and dismissive about my concerns regarding the procedure I had done. I felt like she rushed through the procedure and left just as quickly due to her other patient going into labor. I was not given any after care guidelines.

She went above and beyond and spent more time with me explaining the options for my situation, advised me the best possible course, and did the procedure that same day to get things moving quickly. I trust Dr. Conti and value her care. My only complaint is the timeliness that the clinic responds to my health messages. It took over 1-2 weeks and multiple follow up to get a response to a my health message.
I came in for info about uterine/cervical cancer as related to taking male hormones. She informed me that this wasn't something to worry about. She researched it before coming to talk to me. Also gave me some info on Planned Parenthood and the TW Transgender Clinic.
