Poor consistency from doctor on issues discussed and questions asked via MyHealth in past (doctor doesn't seem to remember, and doesn't ask me about issues raised & documented in past). Also poor consistency from lab tests done in past, including tests I've specifically requested, versus what doctor requests now for annuals. When I have symptoms doctor can't explain, she has no suggestions for diagnosis. Her answer is do nothing & see if things improve. Doctor seems to have a standard set of things she focuses on and tests for, and anything that doesn't fit those parameters, she ignores.

She offered some good tips about things I asked her, and printed out some information that I could refer to and use at home. She had looked over my records before coming in, as she knew about my diet, physical activity, my son's name and age, etc., which really shows she cares about knowing about her patients and about providing personalized service. I always feel like I am Dr. Chen's only patient during my appointments. I know she has many, many patients but her demeanor, care, competence/knowledge and personalized approach make me feel very well cared for and very special. I really can't ask for more than that. My health provider is a terrific, sensitive, caring person. She puts my mind at ease on every issue I suffer from. In spite of all the work and other patients she has, she gives me special care as if I am her only patient. She gives me the results of my tests right away, as soon as she receives them,both by calling me and on My Health Page, on line. She shows great concern in any health problem, or issue that I have, and follows it up ardently and instantly. She always has the time to call me personally, and not her assistant, to reassure me and put my mind at ease, and advises me on the best solutions to any health problem I have. I have great respect and all confidence in such a sensitive and considerate doctor. I tell everybody as to how amazed I am at her competent and compassion in her quick response to my ailments. thank you with all my heart. A role model to all other doctors, specially the up coming ones!

This was my first appt. with Dr. Chen and I was very impressed. She was very caring and nice. She listened to my concerns and talked to me about them. She explained all my bloodwork results in a way that was easily understood and she reassured me about anything that I was concerned about. She took her time with me and made a lot of good suggestions, but I didn't feel pressured about anything she suggested that I do.
