I love Lauren Edwards. She is in it with me. when my last primary passed on, I was so sad. I didn't believe that I would be able to find the right replacement. When the office opened near me, I just picked her, sight unseen. I cannot believe my luck with her. Recently, I had all kinds of questions about a trip to Africa. I sent over my questions, and boom! Nheime offered me a phone appointment. on the day of the call, they kept me informed about her schedule until she could call me. after a quick phone call, we had a plan. Easy. And when I got back, I had blown up my knees on the trip. Again, she responded quickly, checked out my knees, and we came up with a plan. i have a lot of confidence in her, and am really happy with the staff in that office!!

She's wonderful and I don't say that lightly. I have a number of chronic medical issues some of which are fairly serious. She listens with respect and even proposed suggestions that might help me outside of the specific issue I was there for. I appreciate that -- she's thinking of me, the whole person, not just hustling me out the door once she's addressed that meeting's specific needs. With chronic issues that need to be managed (not all by her of course) it's important to have doctors that respect and trust me, that I respect and trust, and that I feel are "on my side" (are part of "My team") All of the those things are true about her. I'm extremely lucky to have her as a primary care doctor.

Dr. Edwards is an Angel Doctor! As I have said before, when we received her as our Primary Doctor we won the lottery. Both my husband and I use her as our Primary Doctor. The first time I saw her immediately my husband said I want her as my primary. She is truly an exceptional doctor. She is a very professional and very, very knowledgeable. But what sets her apart is her kindness, patience, she listens to your concerns with true kindness, concern, and empathy. She is a great listener and response to immediately and takes the necessary actions. As when a lump was appeared in my husbands neck. Due to her immediate response, it was caught just in time before it can spread any further. She is such a wonderful doctor who is beautiful both inside and out. She CONNECTS with the patient, sees the patient as a WHOLE human being and not someone who just showed up with a situation....She provides CONTEXT to what it is that the particular health situation is that is going on for you (me in this case), she shares as much as I think she possibly knows about what might be happening; she offers choices about alternatives and makes her recommendation and solicits your input on how they sound....willing to support your decision and clear about the path she feels is best. She makes it clear what the next step is for patient/me and asks if there are any more questions. This thoroughness is insane. And she does it seamlessly in the moment...its freaking spectacular; as a leadership consultant, I have an eye for excellence and THIS IS IT.
