Dr Ferris is a very caring, good listener, and knowledgeable physician who cares about her patients well being.
She always takes the time to explain things in terms and levels that I can understand and relate to. This helps me learn more about my illness and what I can do to help myself.

She was great.
Very nice and informative doctor.
She was great! Good communicator, on time, had read my complicated medical history, asked good questions.
Dr. Ferris was focused on making sure my concerns and questions were addressed. She also came up with some creative analysis of my situation. I felt listened to, which is critical.
Dr. Ferris was personable and efficient. She answered all of my questions.
My visit today with Dr. Ferris was absolutely extraordinary. She was extremely well prepared for the appointment, having not only combed through a mountain of documents comprising my medical history, but also fully assimilating the information contained within. The unusual depth and breadth of her knowledge was obvious. Her listening skills were exemplary, as was her eagerness to answer every question I posed. Most of all, however, in contrast with every other neurologist I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot of them), Dr. Ferris gave me something that nobody else has: hope. Stanford is exceptionally lucky to count Dr. Ferris as one of their own, and I feel quite lucky to have been seen—truly seen—by her.
This was our first visit with Dr Farris in person and I found her to be very kind and gentle to both my husband and I. I found her to be very in tuned to any discomfort or pain my husband was having while receiving the Botox injections. I found both Dr Farris and Dr Katz to be very kind and compassionate doctors as well as the young lady, a student, who handed me tissues today when I needed them. Thank you and God bless them
She was helpful and made necessary changes to meds
She was very nice, responsive to my questions, considerate, and informative.
Dr Ferris was a delight to talk with
This was my first visit with Dr Ferris and as a result it was scheduled for a bit longer than a standard office visit. Dr. Ferris took time to carefully listen to and answer all of my questions and at no time was the hour long exam rushed. It was a pleasure having a dialog with such a caring and knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend both Dr. Ferris and Stanford Health Care.
I appreciated our visit and felt a fine patient/doctor exchange.
Dr Ferris addressed my questions about the current medications that I'm taking, and how to get a prescription with more options in terms of trying various combinations. I really appreciated her flexibility! She was very warm and comfortable throughout the visit and discussed three other procedures, two of which I was aware of but the third was new to me. I throughly enjoyed getting to know Dr. Ferris and look forward to seeing her next time.
She was very kind and supportive and I'm very grateful she is taking over for Dr Katz ( who I waited over a year to see ! ) I am hopeful I may find relief for the ongoing pains that seem to be increasing as time goes on ( since after radiation and chemotherapy the discomfort has increased and the spasms are very challenging and pain now radiates into my shoulder and scapula and my back as well as my neck ...so I am hopeful I may finally get some help) Very grateful for Dr Ferris taking me on and continuing treatment plans !!! Grateful , and hopeful and I feel the same for all my care at Stanford !!! Hoping I can keep being under your care ( as my rural facilities are very limited and I could provide many examples of the poor healthcare I received ) there is no comparison to the quality of care I get at Stanford - and I am very grateful for your support !!!
I appreciated the time she spent with me and the thoroughness of answers to my questions.
Perfect provider.
Margaret is personable, very knowledgeable and experienced. We felt very comfortable with her. I am a complicated case and she hadn't had a chance to read my whole chart but had read enough and is knowledgeable enough that she was able to weigh in and give helpful answers and insights into my care . She included my husband and would like to inclue one of my specialized therapists in decision-making.
Thorough, congenial, answered all our questions, made some suggestions and adjustments appropriate to the ongoing diagnosis
Very knowledgeable and kind.
