A very small item, she does need to slow down her speech ever so slightly so all of her words can be picked up and understood. Dr. Fisher was very knowledgeable and pointed out a few new aspects I was not aware of regarding Paxlovid and it's interacting with other medications.

I transferred to Dr. Fisher when Dr. Traver retired. I was very worried as I am an extremely complex, out of the box (medically), and "heavy load" patient. I wasn't sure if she would be up for the task or ready to take me on. Dr. Fisher has welcomed me and taken me on with the same level of care as Dr. Traver did. She is intelligent, caring, and has a good bedside manner. We are still getting to know each other, but I think it is a start of a great relationship. I hope she plans to stay at MMC for a long time.

This was a first visit as I need a new doctor. I picked more by who was available than any other knowledge--though I did specifically prefer a female physician and a younger physician. I was extremely comfortable with the doctor and very glad to establish myself as her patient. I was impressed with her knowledge, she was already familiar with me to some degree (my previous doctor was with Stanford Family Practice, so my records were readily available). She spend more time with me than I had anticipated, answered all my questions, and had the same thoughts as I did on certain medical issues (for example, we both are conservative about testing for prostate cancer). I feel lucky to have found a doctor who I can be comfortable with.
