Biography

Dr. Gupta is a fellowship-trained, board-certified endocrinologist. She provides patient care at Endocrine Medical Associates in Campbell.

Dr. Gupta diagnoses and treats patients with diabetes; thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions; osteoporosis; bone and mineral disorders; polycystic ovarian disease; and endocrine disorders in pregnancy.

She delivers individualized, patient-driven care guided by the latest scientific evidence. Her goal is to empower patients with knowledge about their condition, so they can work closely together to achieve health goals as a team.

Dr. Gupta has been a practicing endocrinologist for more than 15 years. She also is an experienced educator of endocrinology residents and fellows. She previously had practiced in health care systems in Indiana and Illinois. She was in private practice in San Jose before joining Stanford Health Care.

Dr. Gupta has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored book chapters.

She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends when not providing patient care.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Gupta. I have been a patient of Dr. Peterson for about 14 years. It would have been nice for the Doctor to talk to me and learn something about me, if she did not review my files. Instead, the appointment seemed like she was too busy to learn anything about me and seemed more interested in getting to the next patient, rather than learning a bit about me. I came into the office specifically because this was my first appointment with her.
