SHC Patient, Oct 2015
I was given very little information about what to expect with the surgery, how it was going to be done, i.e. Why I had 10 incisions, what to expect post surgery, that it would be the most painful surgery I have ever had! The hernia pain was worse after surgery, still hard and swollen, and still is! The stab wounds are still painful and red, although I have had them checked for infection by my PCP. Dr. Hawn answered my concerns on the last visit., but I should have been told during the first visit to alleviate my worries post surgery.
