Dr Mirmira is one of the best doctors. We first met him when we were looking for a doctor for my 83 year old uncle at the time. It is not easy to take care of elderly patients because they do not know how to communicate with doctors, but felt Dr Mirmira was the right person. My uncle used to have debilitating migraines and other health issues. My uncle is doing very well now and does not have any of these issues anymore. Now Dr Mirmira is my primary care doctor and so is my husband and many of my family members have changed to Dr Mirmira.

The physician concentrated more on his agenda than on the reason I made the appointment. There was no explanation of the diagnosis or treatment. After visiting the pharmacy and getting a brief explanation of what was prescribed, my call to the physician asking for additional information received the response "follow the instructions."
I feel extremely lucky to have Dr. Mirmira and his staff as my health care provider. Over the last 7 years this team have provided me with exceptional care and health advocacy.

He gave me immediate relief from bad stomach/esophagus pain with in-office medication. He gave me theories about the source of my problem (food poison versus virus or bacteria) - and medication to help with either source, and assured me things would get better soon and they did. He knew I had to travel soon and gave me prescriptions in case I needed them while out of town.
I love this doctor, I moved from the area and I still do the 45mil drive just so that I can have him as my primary.
