Would have preferred to know that the Dr. was going to do a breast exam before starting that portion of the exam. I really think that the Dr. was pushing some non prescription treatment and supplied me with samples and how to order item online. Ultimately I didn't feel heard and won't likely see this Dr. again.

Similar to my nurse, my doctor noticed that I wasn't reacting well to knowing what was going on and decided to change course and keep me informed when I needed to be but helped calm my nerves. I appreciated that he kept my partner included in my consultation and gave him an opportunity to ask questions and even be in the room (although my partner would not have done well in that situation and would have just created more chaos in the process haha). Overall, my doctor did a fantastic job getting the job done, keeping me safe (from fainting), and provided a positive experience during a difficult time for me.

My blood pressure was read here and it was normal bc I felt immediately relaxed and safe in this office. I had just had my bp taken one hour before at the Urgent Care on Lark and it's been high for weeks. Dr. Rosenberg is the best doctor I have ever met. He explained everything clearly in one shot and he has an uncanny knack of saying what I wanted to hear first. I came in terrified and exhausted bc I found out that I had a grapefruit sized ovarian cyst. He told me what he thought and how he wanted to proceed and his final thoughts.. it was all very organized and concise and patient. I trusted him from the start and was so grateful that I had stumbled into his office by luck. I would recommend him to anyone. I am now 2 days post surgery and he was a rockstar. My laparoscopy was a success and I got to go home. He made me laugh right before I fell asleep in surgery and I felt like I had a nice nap when I woke up. Love him so much.

He was professional but very fast and did not take time to listen to me. I brought in photos which he barely looked at. He did tell me he thought it was more likely blood was coming from my bladder and not my vagina but I still suspect otherwise. Just my gut feeling. He did not have time to listen to my concerns. My appointment was Monday and did urine test and Pap smear. He said I should hear this week, but I have not heard from the office yet, even though results have been posted in my "health online" account. I will not return to see him. If the results do show a problem, I will seek a different doctor. This practice does seem to be more focused on pregnancies, and not post menopausal middle-aged women with different concerns. I did go here for the "Stanford" name - I drove from Santa Cruz for this appointment.

The doctor was cold, asking questions about prior visits to the office and who of the doctors I visited before and why. It was not related at all to why I was visiting the office. I asked questions of which he answered but didn't make me feel comfortable enough to come back for future visits. I would not recommend this doctor. Unfortunately, my prior doctor relocated and had to resort to finding a new gynecologist who would provide the same the same level of comfort and service.

I was here for a hysteroscopy (6th hysteroscopy). The staff at Los Olivos are always great. Since I was squeezed in for this surgery and have done this more than once, I am not sure the usual procedure was followed in terms of pre-op and post-op appointments, and they weren't needed so I appreciated that. If I could offer one bit of feedback, it would have been a little helpful for the doctor to speak with my husband after the surgery to follow up on what was done. I had a quick conversation with the nurse who said the results would be sent to the requesting doctor, but I usually have a brief conversation post-surgery onsite with the doctor, and usually my husband is there since I'm still a little out of it. She did let me know that a polyp was removed as she looked at the results.

I left without understanding my diagnosis or even knowing if I had a diagnosis. Two increasingly painful days later I had a ruptured abscess. It's possible the abscess wasn't apparent on the day I saw the doctor. I wish there had been more communication so that I knew what the possibilities were for the condition that led me to seek medical attention.
