Biography

Dr. Strickland is a board-certified pediatrician. She provides care at the Stanford Health Care Menlo Medical Clinic.

Working at the Menlo Medical Clinic is a return to home for Dr. Strickland. She was born and raised in the Menlo Park area and is happy to be on the Peninsula. Dr. Strickland’s choice to pursue pediatrics came naturally, as she always knew that she wanted to work with children.

She welcomes the opportunity to help families in the community and to get to know her patients as they grow. She makes sure her patients are comfortable when meeting with her. She tries to put them at ease and help them see doctor visits as fun.

Dr. Strickland emphasizes to parents that she always involves them in the health care decision-making process. She reviews all options with them to make sure they are comfortable with decisions regarding their child’s care.

She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College. She received her residency training at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, California.

Dr. Strickland enjoys time with her children, traveling, and horseback riding when not providing patient care.
