Dr. Terkawi was a great listener and was very patient, even though my Grandfather's vision made it difficult for him to tell if whether the doctor could see where he was pointing to in describing his pain. Dr. Terkawi was very clear in his explanations and answered all of our questions. He quickly formed a plan for addressing my Grandfather's pain, and he made us feel confident in his recommendations. We are really looking forward to my Grandpa having some relief!

I had communicated that they would change me to the doctor because the use in the file that I lost two doctor appointments I was traveling and he never called me is a person who does not let you ask a question, only you have to answer what he says and there for there you can't say anything else later he made the pretext that I was not in California and could not continue with the interview and I correct the video call

Considering how detailed the pre-appointment survey was, I expected my provider to have an idea of my condition (emotional and physical.) I was disappointed to find that this provider did not seem aware of the particular physical condition I disclosed. Even more disappointing was he did not seem knowledgeable about the condition, the recovery process or timeline, nor potential treatments. Additionally, given the emotional impacts I disclosed in my survey, I was surprised there was absolutely no discussion, assessment, or treatment plan addressed for any of these matters. While the provider wants to perform a physical in-person exam before proceeding with a long term physical treatment plan, it seems the emotional impacts of long term physical pain could reasonably be addressed in this initial appointment. I did not feel as if my questionnaire was reviewed thoroughly. Nor do I feel confident in a comprehensive treatment plan for what I am dealing with.

Oh I did that on the last screen. I did not read the question carefully as far as a video visit it’s great as I live in Santa Cruz and sometimes it’s challenging to get to Stanford. However I always prefer meeting a doctor in person. Dr. Terkawi did an excellent job in communicating and listening to my health concerns and pain issues.
