Biography
Eloise Theisen is a board-certified adult geriatric nurse practitioner. She has more than 20 years of experience providing palliative care primarily to cancer, dementia, and chronic pain patients. For the last eight years she has specialized in cannabis therapy. She has helped more than 7,500 patients effectively treat age-related and chronic illness with cannabis. Hers was one of the first practices to bring a clinical dosing regimen to the use of cannabis therapy. She is the past president of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. She is the past interim director for the Medical Cannabis Certificate Program at Pacific College Health and Science. In that role she co-developed the certificate and master’s program for healthcare professionals and cannabis industry professionals. She co-authored the book Pain Free with CBD: Everything You Need to Know to Safely and Effectively Use Cannabidiol. She also contributed a chapter to the Cannabis Handbook for Nurses.
