Dr. Wan was very kind and helped me understand better about the abnormality in my lab work regarding Immune Globulins.
She also made a valuable suggestion about my diet, after we discussed some weight loss I have experienced over the past couple of years.
Perhaps the best thing for me about the video visit, besides meeting Dr. Xiao Wan, was the sense of reassurance I felt, that my current condition was not likely to point to a serious, underlying problem.
In addition to advising me to adjust my diet to include more protein, Dr. Wan sent lab orders for me to have done nearby my home.
I will have this completed next week and will likely hear from Dr. Xiao Wan after that. Dr. Wan inspires confidence by her knowledge and ability to communicate helpfully to me about an unusual health condition.
