Stanford is committed to providing the best care and treatment for patients suffering from addiction. Our team provides an evidence based approach to treat patients with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Resources for ongoing care include medication assisted treatment, for example, buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), naltrexone, disulfiram, varenicline, etc. Treatment at the Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic begins with a complete diagnostic evaluation.

Patients, family, and doctors may speak directly to a psychiatric intake coordinator who will route each patient to the most appropriate specialty area. The coordinator will also assist in obtaining insurance verification and pre-authorization as needed.
