The Stanford Vascular Laboratory is a specialized diagnostic facility that is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
The Vascular Laboratory's purpose is to serve health care providers and their patients by utilizing advanced, noninvasive, diagnostic, medical ultrasound technology while ensuring high quality results.
The Stanford Vascular Laboratory is a full service dedicated vascular diagnostic laboratory utilizing "state-of-the-art" color duplex ultrasound imagers and various indirect testing equipment. The laboratory has experienced growth every year since it's inception and performs approximately 4000 examinations annually. Our referral base includes clinic outpatients, community physician referrals, and a limited number of hospital inpatients. We perform a full range of vascular examinations in cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, venous, and visceral duplex examinations. Additionally, the laboratory is actively involved in vascular conferences, teaching, research, and publishing in areas involving diagnostic vascular ultrasound.
