About this Condition: Meningioma
Symptoms of Meningioma
People with a meningioma often experience no symptoms at all. Doctors often discover the tumor while examining the brain for another health problem.
If symptoms develop, they may vary depending on the size of the tumor and its location. Keep in mind that other medical conditions can cause similar symptoms.
Meningioma symptoms include:
- Headache
- Seizures
- Blurred vision, double vision, or loss of peripheral (side) vision
- Memory loss
- Weakness or numbness in arms or legs
- Memory or hearing loss
- Difficulty with balance
Clinical Trials for Meningioma of the Skull Base
Clinical trials evaluate new approaches, devices, or medications in the treatment of meningioma. Ask your doctor or clinical trials coordinator about available trials that may be additional options for your care.
To learn more about the clinical trials we offer, contact Maria Coburn at 650-736-9551.
