Mediastinal: About this Condition
Risk factors for Mediastinal Masses
Having one or more of these factors does not necessarily mean that you will develop a mediastinal mass. Some people without major risk factors can also develop the disease.
Risk factors include:
- Family history: people with a close relative who had mediastinal cancer are at slightly higher risk for developing mediastinal cancer themselves.
