Cancer of the Paranasal Sinus and Nasal Cavity Staging
Once cancer of the paranasal sinus and nasal cavity is found, more tests will be done to find out if cancer cells have spread to other parts of the body. This is called staging. It is important to know the stage of the disease to plan treatment.
Staging systems have been established for the most common paranasal sinus cavity cancers.
Clinical trials are research studies that evaluate a new medical approach, device, drug, or other treatment. As a Stanford Health Care patient, you may have access to the latest, advanced clinical trials.
Open trials refer to studies currently accepting participants. Closed trials are not currently enrolling, but may open in the future.
