Our Approach
A computed tomography (CT) coronary angiogram is an innovative approach to investigating chest pain and your coronary arteries. Instead of immediately performing a conventional invasive angiogram to look for blockages or narrowing, we can create a 3-D image of your arteries using X-rays. If they are clear, you may not need invasive testing.
We use the latest CT scanners when looking for coronary artery disease, offering accurate results and low radiation exposure. If you still need cardiac catheterization after the CT scan, our team offers a range of procedures for diagnosis and treatment.

Coronary CT Angiography Techniques
While catheterization is a low-risk procedure, cardiologists make a small incision on the wrist or near the groin and move thin tubes through your arteries.
Coronary CT angiography avoids the incision and catheters, with less risk, discomfort, and a shorter recovery. The procedure is also faster. Our team uses a needle to inject contrast dye to highlight your arteries, before you slide inside the doughnut-shaped scanner. You remain there for 20 minutes, until the scan is complete.
