Implantable Loop Recorder - ILR
Implantable Loop Recorder
An implantable loop recorder detects abnormal heart rhythms. The recorder helps your doctor figure out why you may be having palpitations or fainting spells, especially when these symptoms don't happen very often.
Stanford Health Care surgeons perform minor surgery to place the device under the skin in the chest area. The device can be used for up to two years.
