Conditions Treated with Hormone Therapy

Certain cancerous tumors become active and grow in the presence of different hormones. At Stanford Health Care, a group of nationally recognized oncologists, pathologists, and imaging specialists examine each tumor to understand the type of hormone that activates it. Then, we work with you to chart a course of treatment.

If you have been diagnosed with a gynecological cancer and would like Stanford Health Care to help plan your treatment, call the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center and ask to make an appointment. Your doctor can also reach out to our gynecologic oncologists. Within a week, we will have a nurse coordinator contact you to schedule an appointment.
