It seemed like there was an influx of patients on the day of my appointment. With COVID-19, the office has had to adjust it's typical processes and operations. I am assuming that Dr. Buescher has had a surge of patients (myself included) that typically are seen by other doctors. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend being seen at all. I have gone to Dr. Imig for years and she has always been so welcoming, thoughtful and friendly. Interacts with kindness and takes time to make you feel good about yourself. Dr. Buescher was very late, and did I did not feel as though she had much interest in me. I have gained weight due to shoulder surgery, and hip issues, and when I was trying to get in the stirrups, I had a hard time scooching downward and my feet could not find the foot rests. But she did not help me. Frankly, I was embarrassed. Dr. Imig always helped in any way. Dr. Buescher is aefficient, but I will not go to her again. I already have my next years appointment with Dr. Imig.

I saw this provider because mine was unavailable, and I was just there for a follow up screening post treatment. I was honest and candid with this provider about my treatment and sexual history following treatment. She approached my situation with apparent disdain and brashness, which was not only inappropriate for any gynecological visit, but especially unsettling for one so sensitive. I wish I had said something during the visit, but I felt too embarrassed. As a nurse, I think it is experiences such as this that make it difficult for patients to be honest about their symptoms and sexual history. I felt judged and misunderstood. I do not plan on seeing this provider in the future, even if it means waiting for my provider to be available.

I have followed Dr Buescher from her O'Conner office, Good Samaritan office and now to this office. I like how very matter-of-fact she is and still warm. I feel confident in her skills, knowledge and training. I did not, however, enjoy the experience that the rest of the staff provided. I felt like a number rather than a new patient, as I was to Los Olivos.

I have never been fond of any gynecologist, and avoided these visits like the plague. I left my first visit with Dr. Buescher feeling so relieved and empowered, and am looking forward to being responsible with sticking to follow-ups with her. I explained some anxieties I had, and she made me feel very comfortable. She wasn't judgmental or belittling. She answered all of my questions in lay terms and it felt like a very productive session of creating a joint care plan. Exams used to be horribly uncomfortable (if not painful), and much to my surprise and gratitude, that wasn't the case with Dr. Buescher. I'm so glad she is part of the Stanford network!

Dr. Buescher was not friendly. I felt really uncomfortable with her in the examination room. The worst part of the first appointment is that she failed to mention that she will perform a Pap Smear test on me. It took me by surprise. Also, the medical assistant(s) as well as registration staff failed to explain to me what my first appointment will cover.

Honestly, the Doctor that performed my procedure was very straight forward, bluntly honest, and unfortunately not the caring type of demeanor needed for issues in a female region. My feeling is that she is a brilliant Doctor, just not one who is empathetic towards issues or makes you feel cared for.

My doctor, Dr. Buescher is wonderful in all aspects. I can tell Dr. Buescher is genuinely concerned with all my issues whenever I come to see her. Dr. Buescher has never failed to discuss in detail when I ask about what's going on with me and if I don't understand something she will take the time to break it down to me until I do.

The doctor I saw was Dr. Buescher in which she makes me feel very comfortable in being able to discuss any problem with her. I followed Dr. Buescher from her other office at Good Samaritan due to her being such a good doctor. Dr. Buescher takes her time to explain things to you and seems very concerned and doesn't try to get you out of the office really fast. She makes sure I fully understand everything before I leave. Dr. Buescher is very professional and knowledgeable in what she does.
