Dr. Jemelian starts with what brings me in for this visit and listens carefully to my description of symptoms. He then takes a systems approach and explains the bio-medical possibilities that correlate with the symptoms...explaining his thinking and analysis as he discusses your issues to make sure you understand his findings. His analysis and thinking are always crisp and address the problem and possible solutions...then he starts with the required testing to see what the blood or urine or ultrasound or x-ray or CT scan or MRI tell him about his analysis. He then explains his findings and treatment recommendations in a follow-up appointment. I have worked with Dr. Jemelian for over 10 years...starting in San Mateo...and have told him that the MD after his name stands for Medical Detective...he is very analytical and explains his findings very clearly...an extreme privilege to be under his professional care.

Dr. Jemelian is a brilliant physician. One of the things I really appreciate about him, is he is a highly divergent thinker, while being a quiet thinker at the same time. Many doctors unintentionally make patients feel stupid with loud messy thinking. If that makes sense. Dr. Jemelian is a healer. I have had some weird (most likely stress related) issues in the last year. Never once has he made me feel anything but good, for checking things out and aiming towards health. I feel like I am finally on the road to an overall life and health wellness, and it is in large part due to the good care I have received from him. I really value the care I have received in the last 5 (not sure how long now) years, from Dr. Jemelian, which is why I followed his practice from San Mateo to Menlo, because I know he is the best doctor in the area. Due to certain life stories, it have come about suddenly, I will be moving this fall, I will be extremely dismayed to lose my good doctor.
