I've seen this gynecologist for many years and I'm now in my 60s. When I was younger and more sexually active she seemed more attentive and concerned although was hesitant to refer me to specialists or other doctors when I requested more specific care. (I sought out specialists on my own and have had excellent care from them.) Instead she'd hand me a pill, Zoloft, and advise me to read the info packet and see if it helped. Now that I'm beyond reproductive years, she does the necessary exams and tests, but that's it. I get it. Her expertise is best applied to younger patients. Still, I'm glad I've come to see my visits this way because otherwise I might feel she's indifferent.

It was not a good experience. logistically I had no problems with appointment. however, I feel that a clash of personalities may have impacted my satisfaction with the visit. I have a long hx of infertility, and I did not feel that my doctor remembered me or my hx in the way she asked me questions about my intent to have more children or not, as well as, condescendingly informed me, "I am a doctor of Medicine" when I asked her opinion about supplements related to my endometriosis pain/periods. i recognize my appointment was at the end of what was probably a long and busy day, but I cried all the way home, and intend to seek a new doctor.

I think it's a decent experience considering how healthcare is organized and provided these days. My questions were answered and I left knowing what's happening with me health wise, but it was rushed and I felt like my care provider was only interested in about 75% of what I was saying. the interaction is sufficient but it's not personal.

Very disappointing gender reveal. This is the second time Dr Kunzel has exposed the Grendel to my baby when I went to great lengths of telling whole staff etc how important it was to me to have this last surprise. She didn't blatantly say your having a boy/girl" but showed me my test results which clearly had the gender exposed as XX and then spoke of a girl gender when describing the test. This was the exact experience I had with her and my first baby. Such a huge disappointment and a special moment that I will never get back. I feel with all her experience she should should handle this information with the Utmost care and discretion. The fact it has happens twice with me now leads me to the need for writing a letter and making this which (feels almost intentional) oversight known so it doesn't continue to happen to others.

I remain with Dr K b/c she is knowledgeable and supportive of my healthcare questions/concerns. When I wanted the ablation, she made sure I waited a few years until I decided I didn't want to have kids instead of rushing into it and regretted it. She always asks if there is anything else I need or haven't asked b/c those questions always tend to surface once you leave or questions are forgotten once you come into the doctor's office. She knows my health history well, my history of RA etc. I trust her and her continuing knowledge in GYN.

The overall feeling I had from this experience is overall fair-good. I felt as the standard of care was at the level that a large network would operate and grateful I have the care and expertise when I may really need it as I have in the past. The doctor is very pleasant and experienced, and answered all my questions, although she was rushed. She was very helpful to me in a follow up phone call to try to figure out an appropriate treatment for my UTI, which I really appreciated very much. Most of the staff were friendly and pleasant enough. But the place was disorganized and not running smoothly. I could hear push back (attitude) from the nurse when the doctor was asking her for records, while sitting in the waiting room. The mammogram order was not ready in the room as usual. There seemed to be different computers with different systems on them. The first time I went there, last year, I was sent to a different office(Main registration) twice to register and get all the forms filled out. It is just not the feeling I get when I go to most Stanford affiliates.
