I have trust issues with doctors, (too many bad experiences in general), but this particular doctor was above and beyond excellent in my opinion. This was my first time seeing him. Dr. Houman Sharifi is an excellent communicator, bringing medical knowledge down to earth and connecting my concerns, and emphasizing choices as well as giving information that makes sense. Follow up instructions that he gave to me verbally were detailed and matched the written instructions. Dr. Sharifi informed me that results and communication are through MyHealth, which I use all the time. He informed me that when I get my lab work done and get results posted to MyHealth, what actions he would take to communicate with me. Dr. Sharifi was very polite and very helpful. He took time to listen to my health needs as well as took the time to answer the questions I had. He also provided me with very detailed information regarding my health issues as well as taking very diligent and thorough actions including referring me to appropriate doctors and labs. He also sent me the lab's result after a few hours with the full description, and responded to my question regarding the concern I had, immediately. This all happened in the same day. This is the best experience I have had in a doctor's office.
