The Stanford Cancer Center has gained world recognition for its advanced clinical care, scientific research and technological inventions. Translational medicine is the cornerstone of Stanford's cancer treatment programs, with more than 250 active clinical trials under way. Weekly multi-disciplinary tumor boards and genetic counseling clinics are part of the Stanford Cancer Center's unique approach to fighting cancer.
Stanford doctors have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic imaging technologies and radiation therapy techniques available. Stanford offers patients early access to the latest treatment strategies, and is a recognized leader in the prevention and treatment of cancer. We also provide support and resources every step of the way for patients and their families.
As the only NCI-designated center between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Stanford Cancer Center draws upon the expertise of more than 300 researchers and clinicians, and is at the forefront of today’s advances in cancer research and medicine. Stanford scientists and physicians have led the way in developing many of the current state-of-the-art radiology, antibody and biologic therapies that are used to treat cancers, and many of our surgeons have pioneered techniques which are widely used today.

One location for all of your care
Patients can go from the clinics on the first floor to the infusion treatment area on the second floor to radiation oncology on the ground floor. Prescriptions can be filled at the onsite pharmacy, while a café offers a convenient place to grab a bite between appointments.

Clinical trials are research studies that evaluate a new medical approach, device, drug, or other treatment. As a Stanford Health Care patient, you may have access to the latest, advanced clinical trials.
Open trials refer to studies currently accepting participants. Closed trials are not currently enrolling, but may open in the future.

Please fax the Medical Record Release Form to your new patient coordinator. The medical release form is an authorization form for external facilities to release medical records to Stanford Health Care.
