APP Shared Leadership Council
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Shared Leadership Council is a shared decision-making, advising and coordinating body accountable to promote the collaboration, leadership, and professional growth of Advanced Practice Providers by offering a forum to facilitate engagement in opportunities related to clinical growth, educational enrichment, quality improvement, and professional role advancement.
This council works in partnership with Stanford Health Care’s Center for Advanced Practice to foster empowerment and engagement of APPs within the organization, ultimately enhancing patient care standards and providing professional fulfillment.

Our Team
Meet our APP team
APP Community Outreach helps explore volunteer opportunities in the community and ongoing programs for APPs to provide medical care, health education or educational speaking opportunities etc. They also help recruit more volunteers for certain events or programs to promote the health of our greater community.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Offsite Ambassador Program under the APP General Council Offsite Committee is an advising and coordinating body accountable to promote the collaboration, leadership, and professional growth of APPs at offsite locations helping to foster empowerment and engagement of APPs.
The APP Newsletter Committee creates and designs content to keep our APPS informed and aware through our online quarterly newsletter.
APP Wellness
The APP Wellness Task Force, an extension of the Center for Advanced Practice, was created in response to the results of a house wide APP Wellness Survey that was completed in the summer of 2017. From the task force came the initiative to create an APP Wellness Program to promote self-compassion and personal resiliency within the Culture of Wellness model.
The APP Wellness team will incorporate various activities throughout the year to promote health and well-being for our advanced practice providers.
APP Week
Stanford Health Care celebrates an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Recognition Week yearly to thank out APPs for all that they do. The themes focus around significant strides that APPs continue to make in clinical practice, research, academics, and quality improvement initiatives.
It is a fun filled week packed with awards, gifts, food, and presentations.
