Care and Treatment of Chronic Wounds
Conditions Treated
When a wound does not heal or respond to standard treatment in 30 days, we consider it chronic.
We treat the following types of chronic wounds:
- Advanced peripheral artery disease
- Bone infections, like osteomyelitis
- Complications of poor circulation, like gangrene or necrosis
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Surgical wounds
- Tissue damaged from radiation therapy or chemotherapy
- Venous stasis ulcers
