International Azoospermia Center
The Stanford International Azoospermia Center
Other doctors may have told you that fathering a child is impossible—that you have no measurable sperm and are not a candidate for fertility treatment. But we do not rest so easily, and do not believe you need to, either.
The Stanford International Azoospermia Center is a world leader in diagnosing and treating azoospermia, and we invite you to visit. Not every man can become a biological father. But we have successfully treated plenty of cases where patients were previously told they did not have a chance—taking the impossible and making it possible.

Care and Treatment of Azoospermia
World-Class Care at the Stanford International Azoospermia Center
Our center is the only one in the world dedicated solely to azoospermia care, with specialized, experienced doctors and the latest techniques and technology. That allows us to provide patients with a unique experience:
Global reputation: Patients and doctors recognize our center as one of the best places for azoospermia care in the world. We continually see men from around the country and the globe, with many positive outcomes. Contact us to schedule an appointment, including arranging visits from overseas.
Convenience: Our coastal location makes for a convenient destination, and we are situated near several international airports.
Sensitivity: While azoospermia is fairly common, we know that many men are uncomfortable discussing fertility problems. We provide a private, safe environment, with all staff experienced with azoospermia care and the appropriate sensitivity — from our receptionists to our doctors. We combine leading science with compassion.
Comprehensive treatment: We offer a wide range of advanced treatments, with great success in finding or restoring sperm. We can go as far as you want as long as it is medically appropriate — we know you may want peace of mind from trying every option. Learn more about our obstructive azoospermia treatment (for reproductive tract blockages) or nonobstructive azoospermia treatment (for impaired sperm production).
Research: As a research center, if there is a promising diagnostic approach or treatment out there, we are either closely following the developments or—more likely—leading the way. We continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, including early trials at using stem cells to create sperm. Learn more about our research.
Stanford Health Care is known worldwide for the advanced patient care provided by its doctors and staff. We also provide a wide range of guest services and amenities to our patients and visitors. We regularly treat patients from around California, the United States and the world. We welcome men who already have a diagnosis of azoospermia, and those who strongly suspect they have the condition. We are also happy to provide second opinions, either for yourself or (in conjunction with our colleagues) for your partner.
