Stages of Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer
If you have a diagnosis of cancer, your health care team will do tests to determine the stage of cancer. We can treat all the stages of skin cancer, from early to advanced:
- Stages 0 through III: These stages are early to mid-stage, and the goal of treatment often is to eliminate the cancer. Our recommendations for treatment will include options to give you the best chance of a cure.
- Stage IV: Although cancer at this stage is harder to cure (except in rare cases), it is still treatable. We offer the latest drug therapies (medicine) to help people with stage IV cancer live longer and more comfortably.
- Recurrent: Sometimes, cancer treatment appears successful, only for the cancer to return months or even years later. This development is called a recurrence or a relapse, which can happen even after receiving the most appropriate and tailored treatment.
