What is Microneedling?

Scars
Getting injured or having surgery can damage the skin's deepest layer, sometimes leading to scarring after the body's repairs.  

Wrinkles
Wrinkles and crow's feet are a normal part of aging, but we offer proven ways to turn back the clock. 

Acne scars
People of all ages, but especially teenagers, may experience acne. It occurs when hair follicles are plugged by oil and dead cells. Acne appears most commonly on the face, back, and chest. Acne can leave scars treatable by microneedling.

Sun spots
Damage from the sun and aging can cause small dark patches to form on the skin.

What to Expect from Microneedling

Expect about an hour for the microneedling preparation and procedure, depending on your condition and doctor.

The skin punctures in microneedling only penetrate the surface; they don’t go any deeper.

Microneedling stimulates collagen and elastin to help rejuvenate skin.

After the procedure, your doctor may apply a topical healing solution. Your doctor also may recommend serums and other treatments, as well as additional procedures, such as laser or topical treatments.
