The doctor I had for years retired (not with Stanford) I loved him so much I paid out of pocket for yrs not wanting to lose him when I moved to Kaiser. I had to find a new Dr. A friend highly recommended another Dr in the office which I am sad to say I did not have the same experience. By chance I was given Dr. Veeragandham who I absolutely adore! I will follow her wherever she goes if she chose to leave Stanford to the point I would change my carrier or drive an hour. She is a wonderful doctor, who knows how to make you comfortable, she is professional, knowledgeable, understanding, caring I can go on and on. I requested my appointment to remove a birth control implant. Dr. V wanted to chat with me before the removal to be sure I was aware of what could happen if I remove it and if I had thought about other birth control methods. I felt she really cared about me and my health ultimately by asking me these questions. She also picked up on my anxiousness being in the office and going through the small procedure. She asked me questions about where I lived, what I did for work, how I was doing during the pandemic. This helped to put me at ease a bit which I greatly appreciated.

I can't really recommend because of wait times and the way that the staff ignore patients (in the waiting room). But the doctor herself is good. I would recommend the doctor if wait times were better.
