I really liked how he explained things and how knowledgeable he is. I will highly recommend him to others.
Very knowledgeable and patient with questions
Excellent
The medical assistant was super nice & so was Dr. Goodnough. He was very helpful & understanding.
My interaction with Dr Goodnough was outstanding. I am grateful for his experience and care. As to my impressions I find Stanford is excellent on the important issues and casual n routine issues. For instance hand therapy was ordered for me on my exit papers but no one discussed it with me. I found out by reading the paper. I didn’t know when to start it. Thought that they would talk to me about it a month later. I didn’t know it was up to me to find a physical therapist. The office visit felt like I was on a conveyer belt. In came one person to take some info. Next a resident came in to remove stitches. Then someone to ask if I wanted to be a part of a research study. Then Dr Goodnough to review the surgery. Last someone came in to fit the splint on my arm. That was it.
Excellent
Very informative, listens and suggests what is best for me. So appreciate his demeanor and helpfulness with my condition.
Direct and thorough, seemed quite understanding of my situation
Good listener- caring-
I will be going home from Pacifica rehab on Friday and continuing my rehabs with a walker
Great staff, beautiful interior
I was having a really rough day ahead of my appointment in terms of pain and anxiety. There was a glitch in my insurance coverage, but I really needed to be seen and kept my appointment. Letty from Guest Services was kind and caring as she wheeled me to my appointment. The woman who was the X-ray attendant was especially kind. And I quickly felt comfortable with and trusted Dr. Goodnough, who was very thorough and careful in his examination, and his explanation of my next steps… or steps towards steps! I never felt rushed, despite wanting to see the options for crutches at the end of the appointment. The new patient and ortho teams members are great, from Mona to Alicia to Chris and more… thank you! I’m motivated and looking forward to my follow up visit with Dr Goodnough on Feb 21st.
The doctor and nurses very helpful
Everyone was wonderful and I’m so grateful for the excellent care I received
As usual, Dr Goodnough and Jamen were quite efficient and professional. X-rays and suture check was very quick and trouble free..
It would be helpful if he went over the images with the patient and made eye contact.
Professional; knowledgeable; he makes you feel as if he has nobody else scheduled—but you know he has. Highly recommend.

Great surgeon! Very good bedside manner. Seems to really care about my recovery and is invested in my healing. Plus, he listens to Motown when in the OR, which is awesome, because Motown is amazing. Lastly, his name don't do his professional skills justice.
