Biography
Silvina Pugliese, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Attending Physician at the Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center and Stanford Cancer Institute. She attended medical school at Boston University and completed her residency at Loma Linda, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Pugliese practices Supportive Dermato-Oncology (SDO) at the Stanford main campus and also launched the South Bay Cancer Center's SDO Clinic in 2015. She is interested in the management of cutaneous complications associated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, organ transplantation, and their impact on patient quality of life.

Stanford is the best care
Dr. Pugliese was wonderful; very caring and sympathetic, and (together with her nurse) was able to suggest some possible causes for my problem along with some possible solutions.
I have already recommended her!

Every visit to see this doctor is pleasant and leaves me confident that my dermatology needs are in capable hands. She has a wonderful bedside manner and gives me information regarding my skin conditions that are easy to understand. I ask a lot of questions and ask her to look at spots that seem weird or new to me (I have many moles), and she takes my concerns in stride and is happy to address my worries, even when I think they seem excessive. I am so happy to have found this doctor. All of my visits with her have been very comfortable, friendly, and not rushed. Every time I leave her office, I feel as though my concerns and issues were addressed. I would highly recommend her to others!
