

Biography
Dr. Strehlow’s research spans several critical areas in emergency medicine. He is deeply involved in advancing precision emergency medicine and co-chaired the 2023 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Consensus Conference. His research interests also include the development and delivery of emergency care in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), particularly focusing on the epidemiology of emergencies and referral systems. He has significantly contributed to inservice training of healthcare workers, partnering with OpenWHO to research effective approaches to information dissemination during health emergencies. His work also extends to maternal, child, newborn, and adolescent health, as well as exploring how EMS can serve as critical access points for victims of intimate partner violence.
