Palliative care is the management of intensive symptoms to help a patient achieve the best quality of life. Spiritual Care Services enhances the Palliative Care Program at Stanford Health Care by working alongside the medical staff who seek to relieve physical and emotional suffering and provide social, psychological and spiritual support for patients and their families.
