Multidisciplinary Care for Lymphatic and Venous Disorders
Lymphatic and venous disorders often have profound functional and psychological implications for patients and their families. Caring for patients with edema is a complex task requiring input from many specialists. To meet these challenges, the Stanford Center for Lymphatic and Venous Disorders provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic treatments for adults and children.

Programs and Services
Lymphedema support groups are available, but this varies by geographical region. The National Lymphedema Network (NLN) can be a source of information.
Dr. Rockson, the director of the Stanford Center for Lymphatic and Venous Disorders, also serves as the chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Lymphatic Research Foundation (LRF). The LRF, a national not-for-profit foundation, is another valuable source of information about all facets of lymphatic disease, including lymphedema.
