What Are the Symptoms of Microscopic Colitis?
The most common symptom of microscopic colitis is a sudden onset of watery, non-bloody diarrhea.
Other symptoms may include:
- Abdominal pain and cramping
- Accidental passing of stool or fluid from the rectum, especially at night (fecal incontinence)
- Bloating
- Dehydration
- Strong urge to have a bowel movement
- Weight loss
