Stanford Health Care – Now
Putting Out Pancreatitis Pain
05.16.2016
Walter Park, MD, medical director of the Pancreas Clinic at the Stanford Digestive Health Center, is working toward reversing the effects of pancreatitis in his patients. In this video, Dr. Park talks about his long-time goal: to ease his patients' pain and to treat them in ways that will help them avoid the acute or chronic forms of pancreatitis. Dr. Park's research and clinical studies augment the care and compassion he shows his patients.
His treatment strategies also include pain management, aided by the Stanford GI Pain Clinic, and nutritional counseling from Stanford's GI nutrition services. "I am dedicated to helping people who are suffering, to give them individualized treatment, to make a difference in their lives." The Pancreas Clinic treatment team also includes surgeons and interventional radiologists.
