Biography
Bernice Kwong, M.D., is Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Director of the Supportive Dermato-Oncology Program, and Director of the Inpatient Dermatology Consult Service. She has a special interest in the management of cutaneous complications that arise in hospitalized patients and cancer patients. She runs the Supportive Dermato-Oncology Program at the Stanford Cancer Center, where she manages skin side effects of cancer therapies including chemotherapy-related skin reactions, radiation dermatitis, and graft-versus-host disease. Dr. Kwong completed medical school at Yale University, and completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University in 2012.

This a thorough efficient review of my situation. I would recommend this to anyone who asks, but the likelihood of that is fairly low.
Dr. Kwong is one of the best doctors at Stanford. She always gives accurate diagnoses and treatment plan, and she is warm and care for her patients

She is one of the most knowledgeable Doctors I've ever had ,and her advice has gone far to heal my skin allergy ,so that I'm able to receive the benefits of my immunotherapy ,even though I have a skin allergy to it . The skin is under control and doing well.
Dr Kwong has been extremely helpful to me as part of my cancer team. My skin issues, both post surgically and during and after radiation has been sensitive, affecting the daily life activities. Dr Kwong goes above and beyond to educate her patients on good skin care for them personally. She and her staff even send photos of the products recommended so there can be no confusion as to what exact product is being suggested. I have bought many of these products, and they work! Knowing she is there for me, and it is easy to get a timely appointment and return messages means a lot to me. Cancer is scary, and knowing that the Cancer Dermatologists are there for me is a huge comfort. Dr Kwong clearly reviewed my records before the visit, and was totally up to speed when she arrived at the video appointment. She had my history from both June and last week, making my visit quick and efficient. I appreciate the excellent notes in my health as the cell phone connection was not as good when I am at home on my laptop. I was a passenger in the car with my husband on loud east bay freeways and it was hard to hear everything she said, but the notes clarified everything! Taking the time to make those detailed notes is one of the things that makes Dr Kwong excellent, and her care exceptional.
Caring and professional on every level of care and hospitality
Dr. Kwong has given guidance for symptom management and for the development of a plan of care that has been very helpful for my situation. I appreciate her problem solving approach and her availability to address issues that have come up between appointments. The option of video appointments has worked well. I also felt confident in knowing that she communicated about my plan of care with my other Stanford doctors.
