Article III: Elidia Tafoya, Manager, Celebrated as IDEAL Honor Roll staff!
Elidia Tafoya, MPH, Manager of Research Implementation, Culture and Equity, in the Office of Research Patient Care Services (ORPCS) was nominated and selected for the second annual Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in a Learning Environment (IDEAL) Honor Roll staff.
Article IV: Launch of the Bay Area Indian Nurses Association (BAINA)
On August 24, 2024, California Indian Nurses gathered at Kabila Restaurant in San Ramon for the inaugural ceremony of the Bay Area Indian Nurses Association (BAINA), a 501(c)(3) affiliated with the National Association of Indian Nurses of America (NAINA), established in 2006.
Article V: Launch of the B-Well Program
The B-Well Program is a new initiative created by the Office of Research, Patient Care Services’ Patient Research, Quality, and Compliance Team (RQC) to foster a sense of belonging and cultivate a thriving workforce.
Article VI: First Quarterly Healthcare Hero Award Recipient: Jonathan Dinh
The Patient Research Quality and Compliance Division has recently introduced a quarterly recognition program through the B-Well Program.
Article I: Exploring Neurodiversity Among Healthcare Workers
Neesha Nadkarni, BSN, RN, an inpatient clinical nurse from the M4-ICU unit, partnered with the Office of Research, Patient Care Services, and was awarded the Stanford Nurse Alumnae Legacy Grant earlier this year for her project titled “Exploring Neurodiversity among Healthcare Workers”.
