I feel very fortunate to have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Shuer. He is the gold standard for doctors. I have found him and his staff to be very caring and informative.
SHC Patient, Sep 2018
I was supposed to have an x-ray taken at Stanford prior to my appointment, but my drive from Redding, CA took 5 1/2 hours for what should have been a 4-hour drive. I was very disappointed because I felt the x-ray would be the most important part of my discussion with Dr. Shuer. After having my scheduled appointment with Dr. Shuer, he sent me for the x-ray and had me return to discuss it with him. I wasn't kept waiting either for the x-ray, or the second discussion. I have never had a doctor, or facility, be so accommodating. Thank you!
SHC Patient, Sep 2018
Dr. Shuer has given me my life back. I suppose that is why we sought him out! However, from the very beginning he took the time to simply explain to me my circumstance to included me in my care. From before surgery, through surgery and recovery (which includes through today) Dr. Shuer has been there to carefully listen, advise, and CARE for me. The level at which he cared for me has exceeded any expectation my husband and I could have had. He sets the standard for exemplary care.
