Care and Treatment at Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Optometry
Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Optometry
We provide services for healthy vision correction, including glasses, contact lenses, and routine preventative eye examinations.
We recommend that all adults over the age of 40 be screened at least once a year for eye conditions. Patients of any age who have systemic diseases that may affect the eye—particularly diabetes mellitus, poorly controlled blood pressure or lipid levels; or patients who have any types of systemic inflammatory conditions such as lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis; and those on anti-inflammatory medications that in rare instances may affect the eye—should also be screened regularly.
When risk factors for disease or early stages of disease are detected, we provide you with a referral to the appropriate subspecialty physicians, typically at the Byers Eye Institute, depending upon geographic factors and patient preference. Our ophthalmology and optometry specialists are trained at top institutions and work closely together at Byers to form an effective and well-coordinated eye care team.
You can count on us for your healthy eye care needs, as well as any needs that may arise in the future.
