After completing the registration process, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting area. A nurse will escort you to the patient care area. One family member or friend may accompany you.
You will be given a private area to change into a hospital gown and wait on a comfortable stretcher. Your nurse will conduct a brief interview about your medical history and medications, and will verify you procedure. This can take approximately 15-30 minutes.
Restrooms for patients and visitors are located in the waiting area, as well as the patient care area. You are welcome to use the restroom at any time before going into the procedure room.
Your doctor will meet with you in the patient care area regarding your procedure. You are encouraged to ask any question you or or your family, have about what to expect during or after the procedure.
We will make arrangements for a translator, if needed. To support patient safety, we have translators who are experienced in medical terminology so all medical discussions are accurately translated.
